Moving is done! We, of course, picked the hottest weekend thus far to move- high of 103. Thankfully we had a lot of help - thank you Mom, Dad, Nic, Travis, James, Cody, Matt, Tamara, Whitney, and Amber for everything. Also, thank you to our awesome neighbors (former neighbors, Mary & Steve) for the loan of your yard edger, and the oven cleaning supplies.
Unpacking still has a ways to go. We have a lot of things done, but we still need to do major work in the office and garage- it's a 3 car, but we can't currently fit any vehicles in there. My dad and Blake built some shelves out there and Blake still has to paint them before we can load them down, and he had to put his desk together before we could do anything in the office. He finished that last night, so I am hopeful that by the end of the week we'll be all unpacked!
The puppies are adjusting ok- they seem to think we're just staying there for a few days, but then the notice that all of our stuff is there and get confused. Poor babies. Gus man has found a few spots that he loves to hangout, the tile floor in our Master Bath being his favorite so far. That may be because our entry way is covered in boxes Blake needs to break down. We have been trying to make our bathroom off limits to him at the old house because I hate having Gus hair on our floor when we get out of the shower but I haven't had the heart to kick him out yet. He does LOVE the yard- he gets out there and runs back and forth, back and forth, showing off for mom and dad. And, he's learning to put his toys away in the basket by the door when he comes in (ok, he's only done it once, but that's progress, right?)
Tonight we have Bible study, then home to put more stuff away. Thankfully we both have this Friday off, so we'll be able to get lots done.

Closing Day Tomorrow!
Please keep us in your prayers- Blake and I are closing on our first house tomorrow morning at 11am, if nothing goes wrong. Hopefully nothing will go wrong as Saturday is our official "move date", and our rental home is being inspected Monday at 2. I feel like I have a million things to get done between now and then. Here's the list-
1. Pack- working on this, we got a lot done over the weekend, and my mom is coming tomorrow!
2. Schedule professional carpet cleaner for new house- the old owners had kids and there are a few pink and green stains that I'm not sure my parent's carpet cleaner could handle
3 . Get a second pike pass
4. Call about gas/ water/ electric for New House- still need to call about water
5. Cancel gas/water/electric for Old House- all set to end on June 30
6. Transfer AT & T to from OH to NH
7. Reserve rental trailer- Blake did this last night
8. Forward mail- did this online
9. Call about insurance- cancel renters, set up homeowners & change car
10. Change of address for banks
11. Change of address for voter cards
12. Update address on driver's license
13. Clean old house, including shampoo the carpets
14. Clean new house, including getting new filters
What have I forgotten?

Sweet Thing
A few days ago I found a link to the wonderful blog of the wife of a man I used to work with in Springfield. She and her husband are very creative, and have two super cute kids, so I've been kind of "lurking", reading her blog (does this make me a creeper?). On her blog I found the link to her fathers blog- who happens to be a pastor at large church in Springfield. It's on the church's website, so I think reading his blog is totally ok, even though I've never met him. Isn't it wonderful where clicks can take you?
Anyways, one of his posts ended with this:
"Ruth and I are going to try to slip away for about four hours of time alone this afternoon. I will drive her all over town to run errands. While she goes in a store, I will sit in the car and study. Heaven. She is intertwined with my heart. "
Ruth is his wife. I think this is one of the most romantic things I have ever read. To be loved by a Godly man is an amazing thing. I should know, because I am blessed enough to be loved by such a man.

Announcement!
I can't keep it quiet any longer!
We bought a house!
We close on June 24th! We found this house and had our offer accepted back in early May, but we haven't announced it to the internet world in case anything went wrong, but I figure an official closing date means it's a pretty safe bet!

And yes, I took a ton of pictures:)

Monday, Monday
What a great weekend- is it already over? I left Tulsa around 10:15 on Friday morning after visiting Blake at work, and the weather was horrible. I have never seen it rain so hard. I ended up pulling off to the side of the road (along with about 90% of my fellow travelers) for about 45 minutes, and also drove with my emergency flashers on for a long time so people behind me could see me. I stopped in Springfield for some Haruno and a visit with ADsmith, and got up to Columbia around 6.
Jessica's Bachelorette Party was a blast, we didn't get back to the hotel until about 2am, so on Saturday I took a 5 hour nap at my parents. Sunday I went to Lake of the Ozarks to see my brother, sister-in-law and nieces, then headed back to Tulsa.
Tonight we're going to Travis and Cody's house to grill. Yum.
Today I love: Remembering sweet hugs from my neices:)

Last night
Have I told you all lately how amazing my hubby is? One of my favorite tv shows is "The Bachelor/Bachelorette". Not exactly Blake's cup o' tea. However, he has watched every episode of this season but one with me- two hours, every Monday night. Followed by "Here Come The Newlyweds", a summer show after "The Bachelorette" about couples that have been married less than a year. The really neat part is, it's become a fun ritual for us, and it's given us some really good conversation starters.
I am so blessed to be Blake's wife.
Today I love: Blake. And grilled zuchinni:)

Happy Monday!
Man, the weekend sure did fly! Friday night we had a really relaxing evening at home- Blake picked up some tuna steaks from Bodeans (I love that place), and I made a really yummy sauce using soy sauce, ponzu sauce, sugar, wasabi, cooking sherry, butter, flour, and sesame seeds. Sounds kinda complicated, but it was one of those"a dash of this and a little bit more of that" and it was yummy!
Saturday we planned to clean the house a bit. It really needed it since we hadn't been in townfor about 3 weekends. We planned on cleaning until noon, but ended up cleaning until 4:30! Oh well, the house is very clean, and we had our newly married friends, Carrie and Chris, over to grill and play games. Church Sunday and picked up some stuff at the mall, got Blake some new scrubs, then lazed around. It was a great combination of getting things accomplished, spending time with friends and each other, and relaxing!
I'll be in Ada, Oklahoma from Tuesday till Thursday this week for training, then Jessica's Bachelorette party is this weekend in Columbia!
Today I love: my husband- our first date was 3 years ago today!

Oh Wednesday How I Love Thee
I don't particularly love Wednesdays most of the time. If I were to pick a favorite day of the weekdays it would probably be Thursday (Grey's night), or Friday, because I can stay up really late and go out with friends since I don't have to work the next day. I love this particular Wednesday though because Blake is taking me to sushi. Yum, yum, yum. We found a great place called Fuji that is uber expensive, UNLESS you go during the week from 5-7pm, during which time they offer all you can eat sushi for various price points. And it is so good. I mean really, really good. So yay for Wednesday!
I'm not going to lie though- I still miss Springfield sushi. Nakato, Mijuri, and Haruno also yum.
Blake and I have this weekend off after a lot of traveling last month. Then next week I'm traveling to Ada, OK for work Tuesday night-Thursday night, then the weekend of the 12th I'll be making the trek up to CoMo solo for my friend Jessica's Bachelorette Party! I think we are just going to hit up some garage sales this weekend, and maybe a farmer's market. I LOVE fresh veggies!
I hope your Wednesday is fantastic!
Today I Love: sushi, of course.
